Joel Medgebow Esq.

JoelJoel is a native Floridian, born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. Joel attended Florida State as an undergraduate and received a degree in Criminal Justice with honors in 2007. During his time in law school, Joel was consistently at or near the top of his class as a trial attorney. His 2010 performance with the UF Trial Team's 2010 Florida Bar Trial Team Competition Championship is especially notable. During his time as a law student, Joel interned for the Honorable Judge Jeffrey R. Levenson, assisted students in the University of Florida's Trial Practice Workshop and served as an assistant editor of the University of Florida Entertainment Law review. Following graduation, Joel opened his practice in Coconut Creek, Florida in 2011. Joel's no nonsense, structured approach to litigation and trial preparation leaves no stone unturned. Joel is not only his client's most zealous advocate; Joel is a client's best friend in the courtroom.

Joel's current practice concentrates on civil litigation, criminal defense, business and real estate litigation, personal injury, administrative hearings and proceedings and family law. Joel regularly provides General Counsel Services to individuals and business organizations.

Jennie G. Farshchian, Esq.

JennieJennie grew up in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey and relocated to Florida in 2001. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, cum laude, from Florida International University. Following her graduation from FIU, Jennie attended Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center where she graduated summa cum laude (with highest praise) in the top 1% of her class. During law school, Jennie played an active role in the Nova Law Review and also served as a research and teaching assistant to Professors Charlene Smith and Timothy Arcaro.

Jennie's current practice focuses on residential and commercial real estate transactions. She specializes in drafting, reviewing and negotiating leases, purchase contracts, deeds, and other real estate-related documents; handling title issues; and representing lenders, buyers and sellers in the conveyance of commercial and residential real estate. She also counsels and represents individuals, foreign investors, and small to mid-sized businesses on matters pertaining to corporate formation, contract preparation and negotiation, estate planning, and business/investor immigration.

Louis Leo Esq.

LouisLouis is a native Floridian, born and raised in Palm Beach County. Louis attended Farquar College of Arts and Science at Nova Southeastern University as an undergraduate, where he received a degree in Legal Studies with minors in Business, Criminal Justice, and Psychology in 2006. During his time in law school, Louis was a leader in the litigation community. Serving as President of the Nova Trial Association during his time at school, Lou received the Krupnick & Campbell Award, as well as the Order of the Barrister Award for displaying excellence in trial advocacy. During his time as a law student, Louis interned for the Honorable Judge Martin J. Bidwill, worked as a Certified Legal Intern (CLI) for the Broward County State Attorney's Office and served as research assistant to multiple law professors. Louis graduated with honors from Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University in 2010. Following graduation, Louis opened his solo practice in Coconut Creek, Florida in 2011.

Louis's current practice concentrates on civil litigation, criminal defense, personal injury, and family law.

Matt Benzion Esq.

MattMatthew A. Benzion serves of-counsel to Wallach Law by supporting its practice in criminal defense, family law, employment law, commercial litigation, and personal injury law.

Prior to joining the firm, Matthew held two clerkships with two Ft. Lauderdale based civil practice firms. Matthew worked as a law clerk with McIntosh, Sawran, Peltz, & Cartaya, P.A., a firm that specializes in insurance defense and maritime law. Then Matthew spent nearly two years clerking for Koch & Trushin, P.A., serving the firm's litigation needs in both plaintiffs and defendants in various areas of practice.

Matthew holds a magna cum laude law degree from Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad Law Center. As a law student, Matthew was a senior member of the Law Review. He was also a member of the Nova Trial Association and as a student advocate, participated in mock trial competition at the national level. Matthew is admitted to practice in Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Michelle Hollister Esq.

Michelle began her career as a probate staff attorney for the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit. She was promoted to Court Probate & Guardianship Counsel and then to Director of Probate, Guardianship and Mental Health Services for the Circuit Court. Prior to beginning her private practice, Michelle was appointed by Governor Jeb Bush as the Executive Director of the Statewide Public Guardianship Office in Tallahassee. Michelle continued to serve in this position for Governor Charlie Crist.

Michelle is board certified in Elder Law by the Florida Bar. One of her proudest moments was in September of 2011, when she had the privilege of testifying to the United States Senate Special Committee on Aging, Michelle earned her law degree, as well as her Master in Business Administration, from the University of Miami. She is a member of the Elder Law Section of The Florida Bar and The Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar. Michelle has served two terms on the Board of Directors of the National Guardianship Association and is a past president.
